The ‘Problem’ Adrien Broner will finally enter the squared circle on February 20. This will mark the Ohio native’s first fight since a dreadful loss to Manny Pacquiao in 2019. However, Broner moved on from that defeat and inked a deal for his return last year. But, who is he actually signed to?

In 2018, Broner announced a cosmic 5-fight deal with Mayweather Promotions, worth $50 million. Although Broner had an on and off relationship with Floyd Mayweather, the duo came to terms with this eye-catchy contract. This deal not just solidified Broner’s career ahead, but also his relationship with ‘Money’ Mayweather.

Back when the deal got official, the ‘Problem’ even took it to his official Instagram handle to express his contentment.

“@floydmayweather I’m glad we was able to sit down and work out our differences… I was glad to sign the 5 fight promotional contract for 50 million,” he wrote.

Broner cited Floyd Mayweather as his ‘big brother’ and has had immense respect for him.

Prior to this deal, the Matchroom supremo Eddie Hearn presented a 3-fight deal worth $6.75 million to Broner. But the 31-year-old refused to sign on the dotted line as he had a better deal available.

Now, as the ‘Problem’ is on the comeback trail, Mayweather Promotions will look to secure fights against huge names to help him make a killing.
